Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign up with Google OAuth, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
Video Content
Videos you upload or import are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. We process video content to generate transcripts, detect highlights, and create clips. Video content is associated with your user account and not shared with other users.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, clips generated, and videos processed. This data helps us improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain our video clipping service
- To process your videos using AI (transcription, highlight detection, clip generation)
- To manage your account and subscription
- To send transactional emails (clip ready notifications, billing updates)
- To improve our AI models and platform features

3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored using industry-standard security practices. Videos and clips are stored in Cloudflare R2 with encrypted access. Database records are stored in Supabase with row-level security (RLS) ensuring users can only access their own data. All data transmission uses TLS encryption.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Supabase — authentication and database
- Cloudflare R2 — video and clip storage
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered features
- RunPod — video processing infrastructure
5. Data Retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. Video and clip storage depends on your plan (Spark: 7 days, Creator: 90 days, Studio: permanent). Upon account deletion, we initiate a 30-day grace period before permanently removing all associated data.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your data or delete your account from the Settings page. For data-related requests, contact us at privacy@klipstar.ai.
